Sparta Township School District CUSD 140 Calendar 26-27

The first day of school for students in Sparta Township School District for the 2026-2027 school year is August 31, 2026 (Monday).

Spring Break begins on March 26, 2027 and continues through April 2, 2027. Students also have an early dismissal on March 25, 2027.

Christmas Break is scheduled from December 24, 2026 through December 31, 2026. Schools remain closed on January 1, 2027 for New Year's Day.

Winter Break runs from December 24, 2026 through December 31, 2026, with schools also closed on January 1, 2027 for New Year's Day.

Thanksgiving Break is observed on November 26-27, 2026. Students also have an early dismissal on November 25, 2026.

The last day of school for students is June 16, 2027 (Wednesday). Early dismissal is scheduled from June 14-16, 2027.

Schools are closed for Labor Day on September 7, 2026.

October 12, 2026 is a Teacher In-Service Day, and there is no school for students.

Schools are closed for the NJEA Convention on November 5-6, 2026.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled from November 16-19, 2026. Students in grades K-5 will have early dismissal during these conference days.

Schools are closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 18, 2027.

Schools are closed for Presidents Day on February 15, 2027.

Schools are closed on May 31, 2027 in observance of Memorial Day.

If unused, May 28, 2027 and June 1, 2027 will be used as Snow Give Back Days.

Middle School Graduation is scheduled for June 15, 2027, and High School Graduation is scheduled for June 16, 2027.
