Benton County School District Calendar 26-27

The first day of school for students in Benton County School District is August 3, 2026 (Monday).

Spring Break is scheduled from March 8 through March 12, 2027. Classes resume on March 15, 2027.

Christmas Break begins on December 21, 2026 and continues through January 1, 2027.

Winter Break is observed from December 21, 2026, through January 1, 2027. Students return after a Staff Professional Development Day on January 4, 2027.

Thanksgiving Break is scheduled from November 23 through November 27, 2026.

The last day of school is May 25, 2027, and it is a 60% day for students.

Fall Break is scheduled from October 5 through October 9, 2026.

Labor Day will be observed on September 7, 2026, and schools will be closed.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is observed on January 18, 2027, with no classes.

Presidents' Day is observed on February 15, 2027.

Final exams are scheduled from May 17 through May 25, 2027. Senior exams begin on May 21, 2027.

Graduation is scheduled for May 22, 2027. Hickory Flat Attendance Center's ceremony begins at 10:00 AM, and Ashland High School's ceremony begins at 2:00 PM.

Report cards are issued on October 15, 2026 (1st Nine Weeks), January 7, 2027 (2nd Nine Weeks), and March 18, 2027 (3rd Nine Weeks).

Staff Professional Development (No Students) days are July 29-31, 2026, October 12, 2026, and January 4, 2027.

Good Friday is observed on March 26, 2027, and Easter Monday is observed on March 29, 2027.
