Steel Valley School District SVSD Calendar 26-27

The first day of school for students in the Steel Valley School District is August 31, 2026.

Spring Break is scheduled from March 25 through March 29, 2027. Classes resume on March 30, 2027.

Christmas Break begins on December 24, 2026 and continues through January 1, 2027.

Winter Break runs from December 24, 2026, through January 1, 2027, including the Christmas and New Year's holidays.

Thanksgiving Break is scheduled from November 26 through November 30, 2026.

The last day of school and commencement are scheduled for June 4, 2027.

Full Day Professional Development is scheduled on August 24-25, 2026 and October 9, 2026.

Act 80 days are scheduled for August 26-27, 2026, February 5, 2027, and March 8, 2027.

Clerical Days (No School for Students) are August 28, 2026, November 6, 2026, January 25, 2027, April 5, 2027, and June 7, 2027.

Parent Conferences are scheduled for October 22, 2026 and November 12, 2026.

Labor Day is observed on September 7, 2026, and there is no school for students.

Memorial Day is observed on May 31, 2027, and schools are closed.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is observed on January 18, 2027, and there is no school.

Presidents Day is observed on February 15, 2027, and students do not attend school.

Juneteenth is observed on June 18, 2027.
