Wyoming City Schools WCS Calendar

The first day of school for students in Grades 5-12 is August 24, 2026. Students in Grades K-4 begin school on August 26, 2026.

Spring Break is scheduled from March 29 through April 2, 2027. Students also have a Staff Professional Development Day on March 26, 2027.

Christmas Break begins on December 21, 2026 and continues through January 4, 2027. Classes resume on January 5, 2027.

Winter Break is observed from December 21, 2026, through January 4, 2027. Students return to school on January 5, 2027.

Thanksgiving Break is observed on November 26-27, 2026. Thanksgiving Day falls on November 26, 2026.

The last day of school for students in Grades K-7 and Grades 9-11 is May 27, 2027. The last day for Grade 8 students is May 26, 2027, while seniors finish on May 21, 2027.

Labor Day is observed on September 7, 2026, and there is no school for students.

Schools are closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 18, 2027.

Presidents' Day is observed on February 15, 2027, and students do not attend school.

Yes. Staff Professional Development Days with no school for students are scheduled on September 21, 2026, March 26, 2027, and May 28, 2027.

Memorial Day is observed on May 31, 2027. Schools are closed for the Board Holiday.

Students return to school on January 5, 2027, following Winter Break.
