Switzerland of Ohio Local School District LSD Calendar 26-27

The first day of school for students in the Switzerland of Ohio Local School District is September 1, 2026 (Tuesday). Kindergarten students will have a staggered start from September 1 through September 4, 2026.

Spring Break is scheduled from March 26 through March 29, 2027. School resumes after the break according to the district calendar.

Christmas Break begins on December 24, 2026 and continues through January 1, 2027. Students return to school on January 4, 2027.

Winter Break coincides with the district's Christmas Break and runs from December 24, 2026, through January 1, 2027.

Thanksgiving Break includes November 25-27, 2026, with 2-hour early dismissals, followed by November 30, 2026, as a no school day.

The last day of school for students is May 27, 2027 (Thursday). Students will be dismissed two hours early, and it also marks the end of the fourth grading period.

Labor Day is observed on September 7, 2026, and there will be no school for students.

Schools will be closed on January 18, 2027, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Presidents' Day will be observed on February 15, 2027, and students will not have school.

Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for November 10, 2026 and February 18, 2027, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Report cards are distributed on October 30, 2026, January 8, 2027, and March 19, 2027.

Students return to school on January 4, 2027, which also marks the beginning of the third grading period.
