Miami Trace Local School District LSD Calendar 26-27

The first day for students in the Miami Trace Local School District for the 2026-2027 school year is August 13, 2026.

Spring Break is scheduled from March 15 through March 19, 2027. There is also no school on March 26, 2027.

Christmas Break is part of the district's Winter Break, which runs from December 21, 2026, through January 1, 2027.

Winter Break begins on December 21, 2026 and ends on January 1, 2027. Students return to school on January 4, 2027.

Thanksgiving Break is scheduled from November 25 through November 27, 2026.

The last day for students is May 20, 2027.

Staff Opening Day is August 10, 2026, followed by Staff Work/Professional Days on August 11-12, 2026.

Fall Break is observed on October 30, 2026, when there is no school.

The first grading period ends on October 16, 2026.

The second grading period ends on December 18, 2026, which is also a 2-hour early dismissal day for students.

The third grading period ends on March 12, 2027.

There is no school on January 18, 2027, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

There is no school on February 15, 2027, for Presidents' Day.

Graduation is scheduled for May 21, 2027.

The calendar includes 2-hour delay professional development days on September 8, October 12, November 2, January 19, February 16, April 2, and May 7, 2027.
