The first day of school for Lexington Public Schools is August 12, 2026 (Grades 1, 3, 5, 7-8, and 10-12). Additional students begin on August 13, 2026 (Grades K, 2, 4, 6, and 9-12). PreK students start on August 19, 2026.
Spring Break is scheduled from March 25 through March 29, 2027. There will be no school during these dates.
Christmas Break begins on December 21, 2026 and continues through December 31, 2026. There will be no school during this period.
Winter Break runs from December 21, 2026 through January 4, 2027. Students return after January 4, 2027.
Thanksgiving Break is from November 25 through November 27, 2026. There will be no school during these days.
