CENTRAL HEIGHTS USD 288 School Calendar

The first day of school for students in CENTRAL HEIGHTS USD 288 is August 12, 2026.

Spring Break is scheduled from March 15 through March 19, 2027. There is no school during these dates.

Christmas Break begins on December 21, 2026 and continues through January 1, 2027. Students return to school on January 5, 2027.

Winter Break coincides with the Christmas Break and runs from December 21, 2026, through January 1, 2027.

Thanksgiving Break is scheduled for November 23–27, 2026. There is no school during the entire break.

The last day of school is May 20, 2027. Students will be dismissed early at 1:00 PM.

Labor Day is observed on September 7, 2026, and there is no school.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled on October 22, 2026 and February 18, 2027 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Both dates include a half workday.

Teacher In-service days are August 4-6, 2026, September 21, 2026, November 2, 2026, January 4, 2027, March 12, 2027 (half workday/half in-service), and April 26, 2027.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is observed on January 18, 2027, and there is no school.

Easter Break is scheduled from March 26 through March 29, 2027. Students do not attend school during these dates.

Senior Graduation is scheduled for May 8, 2027.

Classes resume on January 5, 2027, following the Teacher In-service Day on January 4.

The 1st nine weeks end on October 16, 2026, the 2nd nine weeks end on December 18, 2026, the 3rd nine weeks end on March 11, 2027, and the 4th nine weeks end on May 20, 2027.
