Sandwich School District CUSD 430 Calendar

The first day of school for students in Sandwich School District for the 2026-2027 school year is August 12, 2026. Students will be dismissed early at 1:10 PM.

Spring Break is scheduled from March 19 through March 29, 2027. There will be no school during this period.

Christmas Break begins on December 21, 2026 and continues through January 1, 2027. Classes resume on January 5, 2027.

Winter Break is observed from December 21, 2026, through January 1, 2027. There will be no school during these dates.

Thanksgiving Break is scheduled for November 25-27, 2026. Students will not attend school during these dates.

The tentative last day of student attendance is May 21, 2027. It is also an early dismissal day at 1:10 PM, provided no emergency days are used.

Labor Day is observed on September 7, 2026, and there is no school.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is observed on January 18, 2027. There is no school on this day.

Presidents Day falls on February 15, 2027, and schools will be closed.

Institute Days are scheduled on October 9, 2026 and January 4, 2027. Students do not attend school on these dates.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for November 23-24, 2026. These are no-school days for students.

School Improvement Days with an 11:10 AM dismissal are scheduled for September 4, November 13, 2026, February 12, March 12, and April 23, 2027.

Students return to school on January 5, 2027, following Winter Break and the Institute Day on January 4.

High School Graduation is tentatively scheduled for May 16, 2027.

Yes. Emergency Days are reserved for May 24-28, 2027. These days will only be used if school closures due to emergencies need to be made up.
