LOMBARD ELEMENTARY DISTRICT 44 School Calendar 26-27

The first day of school for students in the LOMBARD ELEMENTARY DISTRICT 44 Early Childhood program is August 31, 2026.

The 2026-2027 school calendar does not identify a designated Spring Break period.

Christmas Break begins on December 25, 2026 and continues through January 1, 2027.

Winter Break runs from December 25, 2026, through January 1, 2027, with students returning after the break.

Thanksgiving Break includes November 26, 2026 (Thanksgiving Day). Parent-Teacher Conferences are held on November 23-24, and November 27 is also a No Attendance day.

The last day of student attendance is June 4, 2027, if no emergency days are used. If all emergency days are used, the last day becomes June 14, 2027.

Labor Day is observed on September 7, 2026, and there is no school.

Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples' Day is observed on October 12, 2026, and there is no school.

School Improvement (SIP) Days are scheduled for October 13, 2026, February 12, 2027, and June 7, 2027.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for November 23-24, 2026 and March 8, 2027. Students do not attend school on these conference days.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is observed on January 18, 2027, and there is no school.

Presidents' Day is observed on February 15, 2027, and there is no school.

Memorial Day is observed on May 31, 2027, and there is no school.

The first trimester ends on November 13, 2026.

The second trimester ends on March 12, 2027.
